However, Vietnam's pepper market share in Germany's total imports from the non-EU market still increases from 44.67% in 2022 to 53.56% in 2023. Brazil is the second largest foreign pepper supplier. 2 for Germany in 2023, the volume will reach 4.61 thousand tons, worth 16.87 million EUR (equivalent to 18.35 million USD), down 45.4% in volume and 49.4% in value compared to 2022.

Brazil's pepper market share in Germany's total imports from non-EU markets decreases from 38.26% in 2022 to 27.92% in 2023. In 2023, Germany also reduces pepper imports from other markets. Indonesia and Cambodia, but sharply increased imports from India.
