The number of vehicles clearing customs through the province's road border gates currently undergoing customs clearance reaches an average of 1,200 vehicles/day, an increase of nearly 300 vehicles compared to the end of November 2023.
Of these, on average each day there are about 400 vehicles carrying export goods and about 800 vehicles carrying imported goods.

Particularly on January 1, 2024, 3 border gates: Coc Nam, Na Hinh, Na Nua did not carry out customs clearance procedures for goods because the Chinese authorities were on holiday for the New Year, but the number of vehicles carrying goods cleared customs. Customs clearance has been carried out through 3 Lang Son border gates : Huu Nghi, Chi Ma and Tan Thanh International Border Gates, reaching nearly 1,000 vehicles.
Although the number of vehicles carrying imported and exported goods through the province's land border gates has increased sharply, with the shortening of customs clearance time, most vehicles carrying goods are cleared on the same day. Therefore, the number of vehicles waiting for customs clearance the next day is very small.
According to statistics, by the end of January 1, 2024, at border gates there were only 251 trucks carrying goods waiting for customs clearance the next day.
It is known that the number of vehicles carrying export and import goods clearing customs during the day is due to the fact that at this time domestic enterprises promote export activities of fresh fruits and agricultural products. At the same time, domestic manufacturing enterprises also increased imports of consumer goods, products, machinery components... to serve production at the end of the year and around the Lunar New Year .
