In the Central provinces, the price of fresh cassava is purchased at 2,300 - 2,400 VND/kg. The price of fresh cassava (30% powder reserve) purchased in Tay Ninh fluctuates at 3,700 - 3,950 VND/kg; In Dak Lak, the price fluctuates at 3,400-3,700 VND/kg; In Gia Lai, it fluctuates at 3,600-4,000 VND/kg.
According to the Vietnam Cassava Association, domestic and export cassava chips are not traded much and prices have decreased because corn prices are very low.
According to forecasts, the supply of cassava chips next season will be more abundant than the 2022/23 crop, while demand from the Chinese market is not high.
Currently, Vietnamese factories are offering cassava starch at prices ranging from 545 - 560 USD/ton FOB City port. Ho Chi Minh due to lack of raw materials and quite high prices.

In Quang Binh, in 2023, the whole province will grow more than 6,587 hectares of cassava, but productivity and output are expected to decrease compared to the previous crop year due to cassava mosaic disease.
