Accordingly, in 2023, the amount of sugar import tariff quota (HS code 17.01) allocated by auction method is 119,000 tons.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade will coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Finance and relevant ministries and branches to agree on the time to organize the sugar import tariff quota allocation session in 2023 by auction method, publicly announced for relevant associations, businesses, agencies and organizations to know and implement.
