Notably, according to VASEP, by the end of November, pangasius exports to the Chinese market reached USD 636 million, up 81% over the same period. Exports to Hong Kong reached nearly $38 million, up 46%. Particularly, frozen pangasius fillets with HS code 0304 exported to China reached US$472 million, accounting for 74% of pangasius export value to this market. Among the import markets of Vietnamese pangasius, China attracts the largest number of exporters. In 2022, up to this point, there are more than 160 Vietnamese enterprises exporting pangasius to China.
