Department of Agricultural Products Processing and Market Development ( Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development ), in November 2022, Vietnam's rubber exports reached about 240 thousand tons, worth 328 million USD, up 7.3%. in volume and 4.6% in value compared to October 2022; compared to November 2021, increased by 13.6% in volume, but decreased by 8.4% in value; the average export price reached 1,366 USD/ton, down 2.6% compared to October 2022 and 19.3% down compared to November 2021. In the first 11 months of 2022, rubber exports reached about 1.86 million tons, worth 2.93 billion USD, up 9.1% in volume and 3% in value over the same period in 2021.

Rubber exports in 11 months of 2022 reached nearly 3 billion USD

In the past 10 months, China, India and Korea are the three largest rubber consuming markets of Vietnam, accounting for 69.5%, 7.1% and 2.6% market share respectively. The largest increase in rubber export value was in the Russian market with an increase of 44.4% over the same period in 2021. In contrast, the market with the largest decrease in rubber export value was Spain (-39, 3%).

According to the Department of Agricultural Product Processing and Market Development, it is estimated that the volume of rubber imports in November 2022 will reach 220 thousand tons with a value of 265 million USD, bringing the total volume and value of rubber imports in the first 11 months. in 2022 reached nearly 2.03 million tons and 2.93 billion USD, up 10.1% in volume and 13.1% in value over the same period in 2021. Cambodia (accounting for 47.9% market share) , South Korea (10.5%) and China (9.4%) are the 3 main rubber supplying markets for Vietnam in the first 10 months of 2022. Compared to the same period in 2021, the value of rubber imports from these 3 markets all increased, the increases were: 15.3%, 13.4% and 50% respectively.

In the domestic market, in November 2022, the domestic rubber latex price fluctuated slightly. The purchase price of natural latex in Binh Phuoc in the early days of November increased slightly to 265 VND/degree, at the end of the month turned to decrease to 260 VND/degree. Meanwhile, the price of liquid rubber latex in Dong Nai continued to hold steady at 10,500 VND/kg.

The factory's rubber purchase price also increased slightly in the month, but remained at a low level, ranging from 230 to 275 VND/degree depending on the factory, up 5 VND/degree compared to October. Phu Rieng Rubber Company (Binh Phuoc) at 265 - 275 VND/TSC, an increase of 5 VND/TSC compared to the end of October 2022; Phuoc Hoa Rubber Company (Binh Duong) kept at 271 - 275 VND/TSC; Mang Yang Rubber Company (Gia Lai) buys it at the price of 230 - 240 VND/TSC.
