Traders that directly use sugar as production materials are only requested to assign additional tariff quotas for imported refined sugar of the crop year 2021-2022 by auction method.
Type and quantity of additional sugar tariff quotas of the crop year 2021-2022 are assigned as follows: The quota amount of raw sugar import tariff: 160,000 tons (HS code 17.01); Import tariff quota for refined sugar: 40,000 tons (HS code 17.01).
The starting price is 1,700,000 VND/ton; Price step: 50,000 VND/ton; Pre-order: (starting price x number of registered lines for import tariff quota assignment) x 10%.
Traders can submit dossiers by post or directly to the standing department of the Auction Council (Import and Export Department - Ministry of Industry and Trade) at the address: 23 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
