TPO - A series of businesses in Ho Chi Minh City were forced to stop doing customs procedures for import and export goods due to their failure to pay tax according to decisions on tax imposition and tax arrears.

On October 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department said that the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods Management had made a decision on the enforcement of administrative decisions on tax administration by stopping customs procedures for goods and services. import and export goods.

Accordingly, the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods decided to enforce by stopping customs procedures for imported and exported goods according to Article 131 of the Law on Tax Administration for Tin Garment Trading Co., Ltd. Dat (Address 100/9-100/11, Street 9, Phu Thanh Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City) to enforce the tax assessment decision No. 253; 254; 255; 256/QD-ADT/GC dated July 28, 2009 of the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods Management.

Many import-export enterprises have had their procedures stopped because they did not comply with tax regulations.

Regarding the reason for being coerced, Tin Dat Garment Trading Co., Ltd. did not pay tax according to Decision No. 253; 254;255;256/QD-ADT/GC dated July 28, 2009 of the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods Management with an amount of nearly 1.2 billion VND.

On the same day, the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods Management also made a decision to enforce by stopping customs procedures for Phuong Hoang Trading and Production Co., Ltd (address 50/5E Quang Trung, Ward 8, Go Vap District, HCMC). Coercive reason: The company does not pay tax according to the tax imposition decision No. 288; 289; 290; 291; 292; 293; 294; 295; 296/QD-ADT/GC dated August 25, 2009 of the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods Management with the coercive amount of nearly 1.8 billion VND.

In addition, the Customs Sub-Department of Processed Goods has also issued a decision to enforce by stopping customs procedures for import and export goods for Thien Thanh Production Trading Co., Ltd (Address No. 11 Truong Dinh Hoi, Ward 16, District 8, HCMC); Phuong Ly Private Enterprise (Address of Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City); Hoang Tri Garment Company Limited (Address in Ba Diem commune, Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City).
