Specifically, from November 1-15, the whole country imported 380,877 tons of petrol and oil of all kinds (including gasoline, mazut, diesel, and jet fuel), with a total turnover of 360.6 million USD. Compared to the second half of October 2022, the amount of imported gasoline increased by 21.81%, equivalent to an increase of 68,202 tons.

In particular, gasoline alone had a 3-digit increase in import volume with 177,970 tons, turnover of 157.35 million USD, 3 times higher in volume and 3.32 times more in turnover compared to the second half of the previous month. .

Generally from the beginning of the year to November 15, the whole country imported more than 7.5 million tons of petrol and oil of all kinds, with a total turnover of 7.74 billion USD, an increase of 24.1% in salary compared to the same period last year. equivalent increase of nearly 1.5 million tons, turnover increased by nearly 122%.

Particularly, gasoline products reached 1,558,065 tons, with a turnover of $ 1.666 billion, up 127.6 percent in volume, equivalent to an increase of 873,478 tons.

In order to continue to facilitate and further shorten the clearance time and promptly put goods into circulation on the market, the General Department of Customs has issued Document No. 3642/TCHQ-GSQL dated August 31, 2022 directing Customs Departments of provinces and cities shall expedite customs clearance for imported petroleum products.
