This is the second cooperative in the highlands of the ethnic minorities in Bac Kan that has exported products.

Thanh Tam Cooperative specializes in the production of yeast wine in Bang Phuc commune, Cho Don district and signed a contract with Komeco.Ltd Distribution Agent to export alcohol to Japan .

According to the signed contract, each shipment, the unit will deliver to the agent 8,500 bottles, bottle specifications and designs will follow the partner's requirements. Before that, the agent's representative took the product sample for inspection and was recognized as meeting the supplier's production conditions and standards.

Thanh Tam Cooperative is a local producer of long-standing yeast wine. The product has been granted a provincial 3-star OCOP certificate . On average, each month the unit produces and sells 10,000 liters of yeast wine to the market. Currently, the cooperative is linking production with 11 wine-making households in the area.

According to the People's Committee of Bac Kan province, Bang Phuc with an altitude of thousands of meters above sea level, cool climate and fresh cold water has long been famous in Bac Kan for its winemaking profession. Here, winemaking is popular in 9/9 villages according to the traditional method. Alcohol production is nearly 210,000 liters/month, equivalent to more than 6,000 liters/day, and is consumed in many provinces. Revenue from wine making and pig raising activities of ethnic minority households here is estimated at more than 65 billion VND/year.

Before that, in 2020, for the first time, Bac Kan had a cooperative of ethnic minorities to export products. It is Tai Hoan vermicelli cooperative (Na Ri) that has exported vermicelli to the European market. Up to now, Europe is gradually becoming one of the main consumption markets of the Cooperative.

Export is becoming a potential market for Bac Kan agricultural products. In addition to Thanh Tam Cooperative and Tai Hoan Cooperative, currently Misaki Vietnam Company Limited is also exporting a large number of yellow apricot wine products, processed apricots, Japanese vegetables, palanquins, etc. .to the Japanese market.
