This morning, at the Workshop "Improving the competitiveness of logistics service providers", the Ministry of Industry and Trade announced the Import-Export Report of Vietnam in 2021. The seminar "Improving the competitiveness of logistics service providers" attracted the participation of a large number of leaders of ministries, sectors and logistics enterprises.

Meanwhile, although it is still the locality with the leading proportion in the country reaching 44,902 billion USD, but Ho Chi Minh City Ho Chi Minh City only achieved an increase of 1.2% compared to 2020. Particularly, the capital Hanoi ranked 8th (down 1 place compared to 2020, behind Bac Giang) of the whole country, reaching 15.5 billion dollars but also only 2.2% increase compared to 2020.

In the top middle are the provinces of Thanh Hoa 15, Hung Yen 16, Ha Nam 17, Quang Ninh 19, Tien Giang 20, Thai Binh 21, Nam Dinh 22...

Through these figures, it can be seen that in 2021, despite being heavily affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, the proportion of exports still increased by 19.0%. Having this impressive result must include the efforts, flexibility in administration of the Government, the timely advice of ministries, sectors such as Industry and Trade, Finance, etc., and of localities when "responding" , adapting in the context of a complicated pandemic.

In 2021, although the two localities of Ho Chi Minh City Although Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi are still in the "top" position, the growth rate is not high, the capital Hanoi is still ranked 8th after Bac Giang. This can be explained because in the past year, these are two of the localities that suffered the most damage by Covid-19.

Particularly for Phu Tho, in 2021, this locality has "climbed" 3 places on the rankings when it has a growth rate of up to 91.5% compared to 2020. With this result, it must be recorded. Accepting the efforts of all levels, branches and localities of Phu Tho, Phu Tho has drastically implemented solutions such as: Orientation and support for businesses to promote trade; regularly hold dialogues with businesses; implementing policies to support and create conditions for enterprises to access loans to invest in production machinery and equipment...

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Le Hai Binh, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan and leaders of Industry and Trade Newspaper and logistics enterprises announced the "Vietnam Import and Export Report 2021"

In addition, promoting information and propaganda about the market, the demand for goods exported to other countries' markets, information on regulations on food safety and animal and plant quarantine of WTO member countries; raising awareness and skills in applying e-commerce, e-commerce trading floor of Phu Tho province.... to people and businesses in the province.

Through the "picture" of the export turnover statistics of the localities, it also shows that, in the two years of 2020, 2021, the provinces in the top "top" still do not have much disturbance in rankings, only Phu Tho has made efforts to "speed up" to rise from 13th position to 10th position.

Similarly, in the provinces in the "top 10" of the "ranking" table, the localities in the last group did not have much change in position. Localities such as Son La, Lai Chau, Dak Nong, Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang still have not changed much in rankings, even some provinces have remained the same. This also poses challenges for the provinces at the bottom of the "ranking" that need to be strengthened and continued to pay attention to promoting administrative reform, removing difficulties and obstacles in production and business activities. such as: Support investment promotion, product promotion; support to extend tax payment time and land rent; well exploit the domestic market and expand export markets to foreign countries.

At the same time, the Departments of Industry and Trade of these localities also need to continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct all levels and sectors to strengthen the implementation of investment policies to attract domestic and foreign capital to put into production in order to promote production. promote economic growth of the province. Promote propaganda of products that are local strengths and effectively take advantage of opportunities of free trade agreements, especially new generation free trade agreements; exploiting new information, regimes and policies on export and international economic integration. Thereby helping businesses deploy in production and business and search and expand export markets for goods.
