Information on the situation of customs clearance of goods at border gates of Lang Son province will be updated regularly and timely to coordinate and regulate export goods in accordance with reality, minimizing risks in business. .

In order to handle timely, not to cause export goods to be jammed in large quantities at the terminals, causing costs and damage to people and businesses, Lang Son province has directed the Provincial Police. continue to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Department of Transport in, implementing a plan to inspect and regulate means of transport of exported fresh fruit products to the locality.

The Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province said that on February 12, the unit sent a document to the Department of Industry and Trade of the provinces and cities to temporarily stop receiving vehicles carrying fresh fruit to the road border gate of Lang Son. For export, the implementation period is from February 16 to the end of February 25, but every day there are about 50 trucks carrying fruits into Lang Son for the reason of domestic consumption or bringing to the border gate of Cao Bang province for export. to China.

In fact, these vehicles stopped and parked around the area of Lang Son city to wait for the export border gate, causing difficulties in traffic management and assurance, as well as implementing the policy of focusing on solving problems. congested goods at the border gate.

According to the Management Board of Dong Dang-Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone, currently, 4 border gates in the area are still actively operating customs clearance of import and export goods. Lang Son province continues to exchange and hold talks with the Chinese side to increase customs clearance capacity at border gates.

However, because the Chinese side continues to strictly implement Covid-19 prevention and control measures such as increasing testing, disinfecting goods and vehicles, delivery methods limit contact between the two sides; at the same time, when exporting Vietnamese agricultural products to China, 100% inspection must be carried out... so the clearance efficiency is still very low. On average, only about 90-100 vehicles are released/day.

Specifically, on average, at Huu Nghi border gate, 60-70 vehicles are exported/day, and at Tan Thanh border gate 30-40 vehicles/day. By February 21, the total number of trucks waiting for export at the border gate areas was 1,966; including 1,509 trucks carrying fresh fruit, accounting for nearly 80% of the total number of trucks waiting for export; About 400 vehicles carrying fresh fruit are parked at wharves and small yards around Lang Son city, Van Lang and Cao Loc districts.

With the clearance efficiency not increased and maintained as at present, in the absence of new fruit trucks from the country, to export the remaining fruit will need about 15-17 days.
