Enterprise won a "huge" contract, exporting 400 tons of lobster worth 20 million USD

This is considered one of the largest lobster export contracts of Vietnamese enterprises to foreign markets up to the present time. 

Accordingly, the enterprise that won the contract to export "terrible" lobsters is Thanh Nhon Seafood and General Trading Co., Ltd., headquartered in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City and a branch in Phu Yen, Da Nang.

Talking to Tuoi Tre Online on December 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, business director, confirmed that an order of 400 tons of lobster for export will be delivered to two partners in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China, with selling price is equivalent to 50 USD/kg.

In order to ensure a large source of goods to supply partners, in addition to lobsters in the farming area of this enterprise in Song Cau town, Phu Yen, Ms. Thu said that she cooperated to collect lobsters from farming households in the town. Song Cau and Cam Ranh communes, Khanh Hoa. 

Delivery contracts are made weekly for the whole year of 2022, helping to ensure stable output and prices for lobster farmers in the lobster capital Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa.

It is known that the leader of this business is also the successor of "Lobster King" Nguyen Thanh Nhon - one of the pioneers in commercial lobster farming and sharing the lobster farming model with people in the town. Cau River, Phu Yen.

Up to now, the enterprise has delivered some of the first official shipments via air with the volume of nearly 15 tons of lobster. 

According to Ms. Thu, bringing Vietnamese lobster to the Chinese market is just the first step in the plan to promote Vietnamese lobster to the world market.

This enterprise said that it plans to approach and introduce Vietnamese lobster specialties to fastidious and high-quality markets such as Japan, the US and the EU in the future to improve product value, increase income for lobster farmers.
