Gold price on the afternoon of November 26 increased sharply by millions of dong/tael

(LDO) – Although the world gold price did not go up much, the domestic gold price increased strongly, different from the world price of 11.5 million VND/tael.

SJC gold price on November 26 increased by 800,000 VND/tael

After a slight increase of about 100,000 dong per tael in the morning session of November 26 to 59.55 million dong/tael in the buying afternoon and 60.25 million dong/tael in the selling afternoon, by early afternoon, the price of gold SJC increased another 300,000 VND/tael, to 60.55 million VND/tael in the selling side.

Not stopping there, at about 3:30 p.m., the business world increased by 400,000 dong/tael to raise the price of SJC gold to 61.1 million dong/tael.

By the end of the day, the price of SJC gold decreased slightly by 50,000 dong/tael when buying in at 60.25 million dong/tael and selling out at 61.05 million dong/tael.

The price of gold in Vietnam on November 26 increased by a total of 800,000 VND/tael, while the world gold price only increased by 18 USD/ounce (equivalent to 340,000 VND/tael), from 1,790 USD/ounce to 1,808 USD/ounce (recorded at 5pm).

Gold traders said that many days ago, when the domestic gold price surpassed 60 million dong/tael and was 10-11 million dong/tael higher than the world price, speculators offered to sell SJC gold bars, but businesses did not dared to hug "goods" for fear that the domestic gold price might drop sharply. Up to now, some people have a need to buy gold to store but businesses do not have it for sale.

Accordingly, gold holders grasped this, and at the same time took advantage of the rising international gold price, which pushed up the SJC gold price, far exceeding the world gold price.
