Mr. Tran Van Duc, owner of two offshore fishing boats Bth99601TS and BTh98100TS, said that his boat had to wait for the tide to rise, compare the channel, watch the high water, then follow each other in and out. Local fishermen who are familiar with the creek are still able to help, ships outside the province are not familiar, they easily run aground, damaged rudders and propellers.

"It's difficult to get in and out of the gate, sometimes the boat runs aground, sometimes it's in trouble. It's a little difficult for small boats to get in and out of the water, but most boats over 15m have to wait until the water is really big to get in. They had to rush out immediately, so it was very difficult to transport them," said Mr. Duc.

Not only has the creek filled up, the signal poles outside the port have also been damaged for a long time. Fishermen have complained many times but have not seen any repair unit.

This time is the peak of the southern fish season, the fishing grounds are favorable, and fishermen exploit seafood effectively. But due to the shallow creek, a few small boats enter the fishing port of Phan Ri Cua, while large ships cannot dock to unload seafood.
